SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:

Achieves maximum sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the CJ Lasso products. Sales representative is to contact and secure new business accounts/customers.

  • Commission based
  • Reports to the President/CEO and Vice President of Partnerships

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products to potential best suited to their needs.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company’s products.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Researches prospective customers for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints, always consult with upper management.
  • Collect and research information needed to identify and resolve problematic situations, always consulting with upper management.
  • Coordinates sales effort with upper management.
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of prospective customer’s value to the company.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for the new customers they bring to the company, highlighting profile and value opportunities.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions. Demonstrate products and show consumers how to maximize the product
  • Explain different types of products
  • Discuss warranties and replacement parts.
  • Process orders in person, over the phone and email.
  • Check with staff to ensure product is in stock.
  • Represent and promote the company with products through presentations, in office showroom, or at the office of the potential customer as required (Upper management to accompany on presentations for major/big potential accounts/clients)
  • Present solutions to buyers including price, estimated time of delivery based on firm’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Present specials when available to prospective customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Posses at least 1-2 years sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to make creative sales suggestions in the interest of the company
  • Ability to follow instructions for various projects and communicate effectively with
    other staff members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license.

Administration Intern

Job Description

Forward-thinking company looking to hire an intern to provide administrative support to office operations:

  • The position is a non-paid, part-time internship
  • Can be credit based with a time commitment of 8-16 hours per week
  • Lunch and Transportation (Max: $75 per week) will be reimbursed on a bi-weekly bases via an approved expense report
  • Reports directly to the Vice President of Partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones
  • Data entry
  • Market Research as assigned
  • Respond to consumer Emails & Phone Calls
  • Open all mail and direct to managers as necessary
  • Learn and understand brand products
  • Responsible for recognizing opportunities for improvement in our policies or processes and leading the initiative in an effort to reduce disruptions in service or detract from customer satisfaction
  • Meeting and schedule organizing
  • Drafting meeting notes
  • Coordinate, create, or update project communications and presentations
  • Attending local meetings with leadership or staff as available and needed

  • Assist head of finance as assigned

Requirements

  • Market Research
  • Deliver weekly reports with statistics and results for each account

Requirements

  • Preferred Major/Minor: Business, Marketing/Public Relations, Commutations, IT, or related Majors/Minors
  • Able to make creative Marketing/Social Media suggestions in the interest of the company
  • Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
